"Six years ago I discovered that there is a hotel in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, called the same thing
as I: Norling.
I wrote to the hotel and they told me that Norling means jewel palace in Tibetan (The Norbulingka/Norling
of Lhasa was the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas). I told them that Norling is a former Swedish
soldier's name.
Last year I went to Kathmandu and visited the Norling hotel for one day. "This is your home now", the
owner told me.
This summer I went back to Kathmandu and Norling hotel and this exhibition is a diary from the week
when I stayed there."

Katarina Norling is showing a room installation with sculptures, objects, drawings and texts.
